HTC HD2 Follow Up Review

The HTC HD2 is packed with top of the line specs, but you are quickly reminded that it runs on Windows operating system. The phone is awesome when it is working properly, but as with any other Windows Mobile phone, you will have to reset the phone from time to time. Battery life is average, if you are using it as an MP3 player, browsing the web, sending text messages and updating your Facebook account you will have the need to plug it in about half way through the day. It is recommended that you purchase a car charger to help the phone make it through the day. Reception is good, as of now I have yet to drop a call. The phone is also equipped with a market so that you may download 3rd party applications, most of which you have to purchase. The 1 Ghz Snapdragon processor for the most part can handle most tasks on the phone, but if you are running several tasks at the same time, then it will tend to freeze up. Pictures look good on the 5 MP camera, and the dual LED flashes help when taking pictures under low light situations. You can also take video with the LED flashes on. All in all the phone is good for multimedia uses, but you will need to have a little patience for the phone.
